Overall I can't say I am pleased with my average performance, but I have been sucked out on A LOT so the numbers could be worse.

A good friend of mine has decided that I am a good enough player to be staked at the $6.50 turbos on PokerStars so he has shipped me $200(30 buy-ins) to start playing with the deal that I send him $100 once I reach $300, then $100 again after reaching $300 a 2nd time then lastly once I reach $500 I ship him $100 more and the rest is mine. I really consider him a good friend for giving me this opportunity and I hope not to let him down, I will keep this blog updated with key hands as well as PT screenshots of my hopefull success.

I was out of town for the last 4 days hanging out with friends. We played a lot of poker and I won a lot of money which is nice. We played $20 and $30 tournaments and .5/1 no limit cash games and I ended the weekend up $540 which felt nice, but the online bankroll still sits at $1.78.

More updates to follow, and daily again.

I didn't update for 2 days, but nothing really spectacular happened. I played a few fun step round 1s and earned 3 tickets for round 2s. I just used one and busted out thanks to a good play that turned out bad, but its okay. I am currently in another so we will just see how it goes. Real update coming tonight.

Tough break

I played a Fun Step round 3 and ended up winning that for the $1 first prize. I also played in a $50 turbo freeroll and made it down to the final 13 when my KTo failed to beat A5h on a board of Q2TKJ, I was pretty disappointed but I did make it into the top 1000 today.

13/1500 is so close yet so far away. :(

Day 1

Last night I played in 2 of the late night freerolls with results not exactly what I was hoping for. In the pot limit event I turned the nut straight and bet the pot, river put a 3 flush out there. Villain checked, I again bet put, he pushes for a miniscule amount more and I call and lose to the flush. I was out a few hands later with 88 vs 99. In the no limit event I was out even earlier when my JJ failed to hold against AKo.

Todays goal is to make it into the top 1000, though I will probably only have time to play 1 or 2 freerolls because I plan on watching TOfest at 4 and my Steelers at 8.

Back to where I began

I decided today that I would try to rebuild a bankroll starting entirely with freerolls on poker.com as I did a year and a half ago. My first goal is to make a final table and then we can roll from there, but a win would be a great thing to achieve at the moment. I am just looking forward to playing my best poker and actually getting past the "donk stages" of a freeroll. I feel I have a slight edge on the fields considering my past history in MTTs and freerolls.
